Expanded explanation of the fabric and light

The lamps are made with a custom‑knitted textile composed of 50% polyester and 50% stainless steel. This unusual blend gives the fabric both its softness and its structural memory: the polyester provides flexibility and translucency, while the stainless steel threads add strength, resilience, and a subtle metallic sheen.

Two fabric finishes are available.

• The white/silver variant has a clean, neutral appearance that emphasizes the purity of the form.
• The gold‑toned version carries a warm, luminous sheen created by the golden tint of the textile itself.

Light is delivered through a warm white LED strip integrated inside the frame, illuminating the lamp from the edges inward. This edge‑lighting technique produces an even, gentle radiance that enhances the layered textile and reveals the moiré patterns formed by the knitted structure.

The white fabric is paired with a 2700K LED, giving a soft, warm white glow.
The gold fabric achieves its characteristic warmth through a combination of the 2300K LED and the golden tint of the textile, resulting in a deeper, more atmospheric tone.

Because the fabric is knitted, small variations in pattern, density, or colour naturally occur. These are not defects but part of the material’s character — a direct result of the artisanal knitting process.

Despite its delicacy, the textile is surprisingly robust thanks to the stainless steel content. It is easy to maintain: dust can be removed with a vacuum cleaner on low suction, and marks can be treated with a mild textile cleaner.
